Calamity Jane
Calamity Jane
Martha Cannary (aka Calamity Jane) looked like a man, could shoot like a cowboy and drink like a fish. She became a sharp shooter in Buffalo Bill's Wild West Show in 1895. Other facets of her life were a nurse, cook, waitress and some say a prostitute. She exaggerated the tales of her life with many twists and turns, depending on the audience.
